Unlike other brush tip markers, the Sennelier Ink Brushes feature a tip made with individual fibers to mimic a true watercolor brush. This allows the application of the ink to be more fluid and constant. It also allows the artist to create a varitey of lines widths making it perfect for hand lettering or calligraphy.
The slender, paintbrush-like barrel of the pen contains waterbased, pigmented ink which is enviornmentally friendly. The colors used in the Sennelier Ink Brushes correspond to their other lines of watercolors, giving watercolorists and illustrators the abilty to use these seemlessly in their work with other Sennelier products.
