Are you intimidated by the blank page? This class is for you! Let your creativity run wild by keeping a sketchbook, developing techniques, and learning how to use new materials in creative ways. Learn how to translate sketchbook entries into completed works of art. Create themes in your art using common images or ideas. Learn contemporary approaches to drawing and many more inspiring techniques.

This workshop is an introduction to a class being held on Tuesdays, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, $125 monthly (4 Classes)

Materials Needed
- Sketchbook/Journal (recommended brands: Stillman & Birn, Hahnemuhle, mixed media sketchbooks)
- Graphite pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, Ebony) (Faber-Castell is recommended)
- Colored Pencils (Faber-Castell is recommended)
- Erasers (kneaded, gum, click, plastic)
- Yes! Paste
- X-acto knife with blades or scissors
- Drawing paper or heavy watercolor paper (ex. Rives BFK)
- Watercolor paint or crayons (NeoColor II, optional, but recommended)
- Citra Solve (for image transfers)

UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the workshop will receive a refund equal to 50% of the cost of the class. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund. This will help ensure that the instructor will be paid for their time and effort of teaching the workshop.
